me now. i was listening to some local reports, they were saying this man, the 48-year-old victim was leading a prepare service on stage and was shot at point blank range. so we have to believe this is targeted. >> i would say so. as an investigator that's one of the things i'm going to think. if somebody goes up and shoots somebody at point-blank range, to me it means they were looking specifically for this guy and the suspect fled the scene in a black subaru. this is early on the investigation, breaking story out of fulton county. they are on the scene, i was listening to the fulton county police and there wasn't a lot of radio traffic, so we don't know if they know who this suspect is or not. >> obviously if this was in the middle of bible study as i understand it, there would have been a lot of witnesses. so what are plits doing with them on the scene? >> you take everybody, separate them. if you can if you have enough rooms, and set up an interview rooms. but there are a number of investigators i can see on the scene. that you can see there was a number of investigators there

to college. i was reading a few online reports just before we went live here, mike. and there was a local station that did reach out to a former girlfriend who dated him in eighth grade and then again in high school. she said he was very christian, very kind. she ran into him about a year ago. he did not seem the same. in that same area where he allegedly attacked a 22-year-old. this attack against a 22-year-old jogger that happened back in may, which is linked to the jessica ridgeway case. she was 22. she was able to get away. she was attacked. jessica, unfortunately, just a little girl. wasn't so lucky in this particular case. and not only was she abducted and murdered and dismembered, but dumped like a piece of trash in the middle of the woods. as you know, she went miss iing october 5th, found five days later. >> just terrible. >> it is. >> and when we look at the incident in may, his m.o. was, what, to use a rag with with chemicals? >> that's right. >> probably trying to knock out or subdue this jogger. thankfully, she was able to get away. are authorities or anybody saying that's th
